Save Don’t Splurge

[slideshow_deploy id=’2160′]

Here’s to the first post of the year! A little upset at myself that it took this long. I have a ton of other drafted posts that I just haven’t finished up, including some of our trips. I also have a bunch of footage to edit and post on my YouTube. If you haven’t already done so, make sure to subscribe here so you don’t miss a video!

I have been wanted to splurge on the Tory Burch sandals and the Chloe espadrilles for a really long time, but I just can’t get myself to do it. I am clumsy when it comes to sandals because I tend to scrape them on the front. And regardless if they are $100+ plus sandals I will still end up doing the same. I would much rather splurge on boots because they need to last me through the winter. I always try to get at least two seasons of wear if not more, for my shoes. However, somehow sandals never last me even one season.

Anyways, I found a couple of amazing dupes for such an affordable price. I got my espadrille Chloe dupes for less than $35! Talk about a steal and a fraction of the price. They look almost identical, except I wanted something different and picked up the white ones instead. I picked up some Birkenstock dupes because I wanted something I could lounge in. I actually got mine on super sale and they ended up being on $11. Thank me later, they are still under $17!

So far I have been mostly wearing the espadrilles and the dupe birkenstocks for the past several weeks. They are both so comfortable. I do have to insert this quick little story. Over the weekend I was at my parents house and was wearing the white espadrilles that many of you have probably seen on my instagram. Tell me why everyone was hating on them calling them ugly lol. I even asked my youngest niece and she was like no they’re ugly haha. My Dad and oldest niece were the only ones that liked them. I kept trying to tell them espadrilles are trending everywhere.

Anyways, that wraps up today’s blog post. If you feel like splurging by all means splurge, but just in case you want to save yourself some few (A LOT) dollars, I hope this post was helpful!
