Everyday Work Outfit
If you haven’t guessed it yet, I love wearing jeans and pants to work. It’s seriously my comfort zone. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love dresses and skirts as well, but I also love to stay comfy!
I typically try to not buy as many pants or jeans and instead purchase more tops. It’s easier to try to do that and mix and match the pieces. I seriously need to try to get a blog post up with some mix matching outfits. I try my hardest not to wear the same outfit twice and I think I’ve actually done a good job so far. It can be hard, don’t get me wrong! However, I found this to be the best way so I don’t purchase constantly.
My top is from Forever 21, and it’s pretty thin so I have to wear a tank top underneath. My pants are from American Eagle and are stretchy and comfortable! You have seen my flats all over my Instagram but they are from Target and when I purchased them they were only $13! Yes, I got a steal :).
Hope you enjoyed my everyday work outfit and please comment down below what you’re everyday work outfit is!
A Bit of Rustic Orange
[slideshow_deploy id=’1865′]
I just recently attended an event here in Reno where I was able to meet other bloggers from the community. The Biggest Little Fashion Truck, Panty Drop, and Liberty Food and Wine Exchange hosted the event. It was such a fun event and it was the first time I had ever heard of The Biggest Little Fashion Truck. I was able to check out some of their inventory and let me just start off by saying.. I’m in LOVE. They have pretty much my go to pieces for the styles I like.
I was also able to meet the owner, Britton. I’m so proud of this local business, and I’m completely inspired because this is something I would one day like to start as well. My own little boutique, but that will have to wait a little longer. In the meantime, I think it is super important to support our local entrepreneurs. I’m excited to continue exploring more local shops here in Reno.
My top in this outfit is from BLFT, and I purchased it for less than $25, great price! I love how flowy and long it is because it covers my booty. Follow them on their social media so you know where their next event is. I love shirts like that. The reason I picked it up is because first off, I love stripes, and secondly, because of the neck choker detail. It is so easy to pair it with jeans, shorts, leggings, etc.
I was on the lookout for jeans like these, and was so happy that American Eagle had them on discount. I was able to purchase them for $29 (still on sale). They are trending right now and honestly, fit perfectly. FYI – they are low rise. My bomber jacket is from OOTDFash and although they don’t have mine on the website anymore, I linked a similar one. I have a 15% discount with them, just use PATTYG15!

College/High School Graduation Outfit Ideas
Planning out your graduation outfit can be easy or you could be that one person finding your outfit the night before. I’m sure we’ve all done that! I wanted to share with you some outfit ideas for graduation, whether you’re graduating from college or high school. I suggest looking through your closet and seeing if you have similar items to this. I don’t suggest purchasing something you’re only going to wear once, that’s no fun. I love wearing pieces I’ve already worn and mixing them up.
black and white skirt & denim top
I like loose fitted skirts because they are a little bit more comfortable than the tight fitted dress. Personally, if your gown is a dark color, most likely no one will see what’s underneath…which is good! However I think the black and white on this skirt make a huge difference in the outfit. It’s not an over exaggerated outfit, but it’s still cute for the spring time. I always choose a thick heel when walking in grass because a pointy heel just calls for disaster.
Lace Dress
I think this is something I would wear personally. If you are graduating and it will be warm you want to make sure you don’t wear a long sleeve dress. This dress is perfect for the occasion because it’s a spring and summer dress that isn’t too casual nor too professional, it’s like the perfect middle. I also a big fan of details and this dress for sure stands out with the detailing.
Romper
Many of you have probably seen this romper before, but I think it’s perfect for graduation as well. Actually, I think I did purchase this last year for graduation now that I think about it! I do recommend wearing a romper because it’s a one piece and makes it really easy to pick and choose when shopping. I have not even worn this romper out in public, but it would be great for graduation. The only downside of wearing rompers is having to take it off when you go to the restroom, other than that it’s a great option! I recommend purchasing a bright colored one. However, I love this one.
Flowy Dress
Okay this dress is beautiful, but you have to be careful with it being a little see through. Besides that, It is such a statement dress that screams spring and summer. I love the detail in the back! If you were to take pictures without your gown and just your cap, this dress would be perfect. Oh how I wish I was graduating! (haha) I purchased mine years back from SheIn, but never wore it in public. I feel like I do that a lot. I should at least show you some of the things I purchase…oh maybe a haul?
So that sums up my college/HS graduation outfit ideas. I hope you guys liked these types of posts. It makes me reminisce high school graduation and how fun that was. I still can’t believe that was almost 5 years ago, FIVE!! Time goes by so quickly, and everything I had planned didn’t go that way but instead I realized that everything that happens has a reason. For those that have graduated and walked the stage for college, is it even more fun? Ahh, let me know, I would love to hear! I have attended college graduations before and they are so long, but they are so worth it! Congratulations to all you Spring 2017 Graduates! I hope you accomplish all your endeavors in life.

Olive Green Jacket
[slideshow_deploy id=’1776′]I wanted to share with you a casual work outfit that I wore this week. I know most professional occupations do not allow you to wear jeans. Although, there are some that do and they must not have any holes or rips on them. My job allows us to dress casual and at times I do miss wearing professional outfits but then at the same time I’m so thankful because I couldn’t imagine not being allowed to wear jeans. I do sometimes wish we were allowed to wear ripped jeans, but that can just wait for my weekend wear. I can’t ask for too much, right? My jeans were super affordable from Nordstrom. I want to say they were around less than $50 when I got them on their annual big sale. It is coming up again, and everyone better be ready because they have some great products at affordable prices that you won’t want to miss out on. I especially like purchasing items for the fall because they are on sale before the season begins. This outfit is super easy to recreate because the top and bottoms are items most of us have in our closet. I actually own a lot of olive green jackets, and I feel like if you don’t have one, you are missing out. I purchased mine a couple of years ago from Styles for Less. It is such an easy item to recreate with different pieces. I also think this outfit would be great with some Nikes and a hat.Don’t forget to check out my Instagram for daily outfit posts.Date Night Look
[slideshow_deploy id=’1720′]
For casual date night looks I love to wear jeans, especially ripped jeans. I usually always wear booties or just comfy footwear, depending on what we are doing. We went to the movies, walked around the mall, and ended the night at Depot with some of our friends. The booties I decided to wear were perfect for the occasion! I was so sad to find out Target no longer has them, but I linked some similar ones I found on eBay. My crossbody bag is from T.J.Maxx
I have a lot of heels, but I don’t always wear them on the daily. The reason I don’t always wear them isn’t because I don’t like to or because I get too tired. On the contrary, I actually don’t wear them ALL the time because I care about the well-being of my feet. That may sound funny to some but if you wear heels every day you are likely to get calluses and blisters, and I am only 22 and I DO NOT want that at all. Usually on date nights or nights with my girlfriends is when I pull out the heels and get the use out of them, but I decided to wear heels on Friday so on Saturday my feet were a little achy from wearing heels two days in a row. That was bad planning on my part!
I am attracted to black because it’s simple, yet makes outfits looks really good. My jacket and sweater are both from OOTDFash and I do have a discount code with them: PATTYG15 for 15% off. I really like my black suede jacket because it is lightweight and perfect for nights that aren’t so cold. I also think it looks like a moto jacket, so it’s a win win in my book!
When you are deciding what to wear on date nights, always think about where you might be going and then work from there. That way you first pick out the appropriate footwear, and then depending if you’re going to be inside or outside you would then start choosing the rest of your outfit. Also, don’t be afraid to work with some color when you wear black. You don’t have to wear all black everything, sometimes with a pop of color looks just as good.
Hope you got some little inspiration for date night looks with this outfit, and feel free to follow me on my other social media to let me know what look you want to see next!
