Whitening Sensitive Teeth at Home + Giveaway
One of the many things I constantly do is smile and laugh.. A LOT! Many of my close friends know me for crying because i’m laughing so hard. I seriously just love being happy. However, one of the things I always wanted to have was pearly white teeth. However, I do love tea and coffee, and we all know those just stain your teeth (you can never win, am I right?). Smile Brilliant reached out to me with their at home teeth whitening product and I can honestly say I feel a lot more comfortable when I smile.
Once I received my kit I had to create my custom fitted whitening trays. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and I went ahead and shipped those out.
I received my fitted trays pretty quickly after that, and they fit just right. I followed the instructions by first using the teeth whitening gel and then the desensitizing gel. I truly recommend following the instructions because there were times where I couldn’t use the teeth whitening daily because of my schedule. It took a little longer than usual to see the results. However, you should be using it daily or every other day. I also got a little sensitive when I got generous with the whitening gel, but if you follow the directions you should be good.
Smile Brilliant’s customer service is really helpful and is always there to answer questions! My process took about 2 months but I started seeing results fairly quickly. I usually whiten every two days and I feel that has worked best with me and my schedule. My teeth have now whitened and no longer have noticeable stains.
I have been able to partner up with Smile Brilliant to offer one of you a teethwhitening kit! The giveaway includes $139 credit towards a custom teeth whitening kit of your own or you can also purchase a tray and get $15 off with my code: mysweetestcloset15.

Fall Vibes & Life Update
[slideshow_deploy id=’2051′]
Happy Monday!! I missed writing sooo much. I really can’t put into words how much I like to come on here, create content, edit, and write. It’s one of my most favorite things to do. So much has happened in the past two months, starting with school. Update on that — I was taking some classes in the spring and summer time, but now I have decided to be a full-time graduate student. I am going to school for my Master’s in Business Administration. I love anything related to business and I really hope one day I can call a business my own :).
Now onto the next update, not only am I going to school full time but I am also working full-time. To even top that off, I also decided to take on another part-time job to do another one of my favorite things, social media and web development. My undergraduate major was in information systems from UNR, and I really wanted to do front-end web development after college and this is finally the opportunity where I get to do just that! It’s very hard knowing I gave up majority of my blogging time to take on this position but I love that I get to learn more about Lightroom, Indesign, social media, Facebook advertising, etc. I’m hoping I can gain more skills that in return can help me on here.
So enough on the life update, let me share more on this look. I purchased this cardigan as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and now I regret that I didn’t purchase it in more colors (I hate when I do that). It is so comfy and love that it’s sort of oversized. My jeans are from Charlotte Russe, but I linked some currently stocked ones. If you are looking for hats for this fall I suggest heading to T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, or even Forever 21. They always have super affordable ones and last you a long time. I purchased my hat two years ago from T.J.Maxx and I barely took off the tags yesterday (I always do that).
I am so excited fall is here and I just hope it stays this cool for at least the whole month. This month is a busy one, but I’m hoping I can get in a couple more posts and share some of the online shopping I’ve been doing. Make sure to check out my Instagram for daily posts!
xoxo,
Patty G.
All About Denim Jackets

Denim jackets are very popular and the good thing is you can find some at affordable prices. The weather here in Reno has been acting up. Some days are in the 90s yet some days it’s rainy and humid. I wore this outfit on a date night since it wasn’t too cold nor too hot. I think denim has always been trendy but lately it’s been one of my favorite trendy pieces.
My jacket is from OOTDFash and they always have different ones, but I also recommend purchasing jackets from other places. You can find jackets at Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and H&M. Denim jackets are also a transitional piece between summer and fall. Ahh, can you imagine a denim jacket, white jeans, and a plaid scar? I cannot wait for fall. That’s why it makes it super hard for me to wear summer outfits because all I think about is wanting to be inside in AC (I’m so bad I know).
I also wanted to share that I will be doing a back to school lookbook with easy to recreate looks that I think are appropriate for school regulations. A lot of times bloggers tend to share outfits with ripped jeans and we all know a lot of schools ban those types of pieces. However, I am also super excited for school to start again. Fall, school, and cool weather are all some of my favorite things.
Please stay tuned on my Twitter and Instagram for when that lookbook will come out!

Sleeveless Black Top & My Photographer
[slideshow_deploy id=’2007′]
Happy Tuesday everyone! For this outfit, everything is linked above! I do want to mention that these jeans are AMAZING. They are tight on me but that’s because if I go a size up they are too loose so they fit a little snug. However, they are low rise (not my ideal choice) but they are ripped, which is my favorite! I love ripped jeans and I’m sure many of you know that already. I also buy majority of my jeans ONLY on sale, and never full price. Unless I want to really treat myself.
My heels are super comfortable and I suggest purchasing similar ones for the summer and even the fall time. I also like the heel size because they are not too short nor too high and I can walk around during our weekend errands.
Okay, so for the fun part! Alonso, my boyfriend, has been my photographer for the longest time. I don’t pay anyone for my photos and I love that we both get to learn about this whole world. I like the editing aspect and he learns a little more on the photography side since he is behind the camera. I want to also work on a vlog & blog post for a behind the scenes on what a day looks like when we are taking pictures.
Comment down below any questions you may have about blogging, or you can also tweet them to me! Love to hear from you :).
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | My Top Purchases
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! I am super excited because this means that fall is almost here. Cheers to that, because fall is my favorite season and I cannot wait to wear some of these pieces. Last year was the first time I ordered from the #NSale and I loved all of the items I ordered. There were some pieces that just sold out so quickly which made it so hard.
This time around, I made sure to order during the early access. Most of the items I am sharing here are ones I ordered but I am still waiting for them to arrive. I might make another order and will share those as well. So far some pieces have sold out but will be restocked when the sale goes out to the public. If you want to shop right now you must be a Nordstrom Cardhold member, and all of the information is here for that. The early access is open until July 20th and then on the 21st it will be open to the public.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a massive sale that everyone gets hyped up about it because all of these items get put on sale before the season. Once the season starts, all of these items will be priced higher. This is why it’s good to pick up these pieces now, rather than later. Most companies have an end of season sale, but not Nordstrom!
If a lot of these items still seem pricey to you, no worries! I will be putting together some affordable hauls from other places for my bargain hunters out there. I love deals and also don’t want to break the piggy bank either.
Happy shopping and comment down below what you purchased from the #NSale!
