Get Ready With Me
Hello!
If you have been keeping up with me on Instagram you have seen some of my latest videos on IGTV. Instagram isn’t very friendly when it comes to linking products you use, so I figured the best way to share all of that is through my blog.
All products mentioned in my IGTV Get Ready with Me are linked down below:
Let me know if you have any questions on any of the products mentioned above!

Whitening Sensitive Teeth at Home + Giveaway
One of the many things I constantly do is smile and laugh.. A LOT! Many of my close friends know me for crying because i’m laughing so hard. I seriously just love being happy. However, one of the things I always wanted to have was pearly white teeth. However, I do love tea and coffee, and we all know those just stain your teeth (you can never win, am I right?). Smile Brilliant reached out to me with their at home teeth whitening product and I can honestly say I feel a lot more comfortable when I smile.
Once I received my kit I had to create my custom fitted whitening trays. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and I went ahead and shipped those out.
I received my fitted trays pretty quickly after that, and they fit just right. I followed the instructions by first using the teeth whitening gel and then the desensitizing gel. I truly recommend following the instructions because there were times where I couldn’t use the teeth whitening daily because of my schedule. It took a little longer than usual to see the results. However, you should be using it daily or every other day. I also got a little sensitive when I got generous with the whitening gel, but if you follow the directions you should be good.
Smile Brilliant’s customer service is really helpful and is always there to answer questions! My process took about 2 months but I started seeing results fairly quickly. I usually whiten every two days and I feel that has worked best with me and my schedule. My teeth have now whitened and no longer have noticeable stains.
I have been able to partner up with Smile Brilliant to offer one of you a teethwhitening kit! The giveaway includes $139 credit towards a custom teeth whitening kit of your own or you can also purchase a tray and get $15 off with my code: mysweetestcloset15.

Top Go-To Foundations
As many of you (who read my blog) know, I never wore makeup before, but I did however start experimenting when I was 20 or 21. I became a little obsessed (a lot actually) with watching beauty Youtube videos. I started subscribing and being a total fan of all the beauty gurus. I started to buy a lot more makeup and experimenting with it.
I am by no means an expert, but I have been able to try different types of makeup from high end to drug store. I will admit, I have not been so into makeup the past year and a half because I started to simply enjoy my natural skin and used my mornings to relax rather than spend so much time getting ready. That probably sounds surprising to some. I definitely want to do a morning routine so you can see for yourself.. (ooo maybe my next video?)
Below is the list of my top go-to-foundations. They are not in any particular order at all. I have tried all of these foundations and can honestly say they are my favorites. I hope to try more in the future, but don’t think it’s necessary to purchase so many foundations if some days I don’t even wear makeup. That would just be a waste of product. Anyways, let’s get started!
Too Faced Born This Way
This foundation is one of the latest purchases I’ve made. I bought mine last year around September I want to say. I still have a lot of product in my little bottle. I love the way it applies because it’s not drying or too oily. It blends very well, especially with a beauty blender. I like the coverage and natural look this foundation gives. It is not cakey by any means, which I am not a fan of. I always try to go for the natural look.L’ORÉAL True Match Super Blendable Makeup
This is one of the first foundations I ever tried. I want to say it was the second one. Nicole Guerriero used to always rave about it and I lover her, so I had to try it out myself. I completely I agree with her now. It is one of my go-to’s and I will always go back to it. This is one of the foundations I use on the daily I would say. I like to mix it with the NYX CC cream that I used in my recent video. This foundation is also very natural. I think you can build up the coverage. I will be honest, I haven’t tried that. I normally just do one layer and blend it out with my beauty blender.Makeup Forever Ultra HD
This foundation is very similar to the Too Faced Born This Way foundation but it has been awhile since I have repurchased it. At one time, this was all I ever used and it gave just enough coverage, while still giving me that natural look. This is a high end foundation and it is normally priced around $43. It’s pretty crazy to think about how expensive makeup is, but I guess beauty does cost, huh?L’ORÉAL Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation
I probably should have started off this blog by mentioning the type of skin I have. I would say I am normal to oily, but more on the oily side. It’s not fun at all! Where are my oily girls at? I would much rather be oily than dry. This is why I try to stick with foundations for my skin type and this happens to be one of them. After applying this foundation and blending it, it stays matte. I also use this setting spray with it and it works perfect together. Those are four of my top go-to-foundations that I have tried and loved. I want to hear what foundations are your go-to’s? GRWM | Everyday Makeup Look & Outfit
It is finally the perfect season to wear off the shoulder tops! I actually purchased my top from Burlington a year ago, but never got around to wearing it. I do this way too often I feel like. However, I did want to mention that I found a top similar to mine for only $13, from SheIn. They have some pretty great blouses for the spring and summer time, be sure to check them out.
My jeans are some of my favorite go-to-pair from my all time favorite jean store…Express. My favorite pair to purchase from them are the jeggings because they fit perfectly in all areas. This is hard because I have long legs but I am not skinny everywhere so it is sometimes hard to look for jeans that fit me. If you have an Express Outlet near you, I suggest stopping by and checking it out. They usually have the jeans a bit cheaper than the Express store (not always, but sometimes). My booties were a gift, but they are from the brand Madden Girl and currently are very trendy with the peep toe.
Anyways, let’s get to the makeup look! I wanted to create a GRWM video of my everyday makeup. It takes me about 10 minutes to do it I would say, not very long. The thing with makeup is I honestly don’t like wearing much of it. In the video linked below, I did apply a little more foundation than usual because I was going out for a date night. However, mostly everyday I just use the CC cream I mentioned and it works perfect for me. I hate caking on makeup to the point it looks fake because we all (this girl) has zits and I am not afraid to show them. I like to be natural and I even remember my brother always saying how cool it was that I never wore makeup. I didn’t up until I came to college.
Makeup is so much fun, but I just would rather spend my mornings working out or eating than taking my time doing it. I want to create a video on the 5 minute makeup challenge because that is pretty much what I do everyday (lol). I also typically don’t wear lipstick to work either. I did in this video because I seriously bought a ton of lipsticks and have not used any of them. I don’t want to let them go to waste (some already did). I have to start using the beauty products I buy more regularly, someone send me a makeup artist my way.
I hope you guys enjoy the video linked below. Please comment on the video what you would like me to record next (it can be anything :)).
Current Beauty Wish List

1. TOO FACED: Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer
I have watched a ton of YouTube videos that share this bronzer, and say nothing but good things about it. I have been meaning to purchase it but it hasn’t happened yet. I have swatched it at Ulta and love the texture of it. It gives a nice tan evened out color on the skin. I think this is a must for that bronzy look in the summer time.2. TOO FACED: Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection
There are many contour palettes out there that are high end but are amazing. I currently use an affordable one from Elf Cosmetics, but have been wanting to try this one from Too Faced. I like the light and darker shades that this contour palette has because I have more of a medium toned skin. I also like that this is in a small palette because most contour palettes are bigger with more shades and hard to carry around when you are traveling.3. ESTEE LAUDER: Double Wear Stay-In Place Makeup
My best friend has tried this foundation and has said good things about it. I also follow Casey Holmes on YouTube and she mentions it’s one of her all time favorites. So from hearing all these positive comments, I feel like it’s time to try out and see how I feel about it. It’s not super expensive compared to the normal price of high end foundation, but it’s also not a drug store price. I want to try it out because it also mentions it is long wear, even through humidity. This would be great to try for the summer.4. SMASHBOX: Photo Finish Primer Water
I have sprayed this product on my fave while I am testing out products at Ulta. However, I have not tested it before applying my makeup. I hear this product works, but then I also hear it doesn’t do much. Some of the influencers I follow say they could not live without this product because it is oil free and helps apply on makeup. I feel like this is one of those products that it’s best to try it out, and see for yourself. I have been looking for a primer for awhile and want to find something that helps with applying on foundation.5. TOO FACED: Love Flush Blush
I almost purchased this product last year when it was sold in a bundle with different shades. They have some of the perfect blushes for the summer. I have heard great things about these blushes as well. The only thing with purchasing high end blushes is that you most likely won’t hit pan. It’s very difficult to finish an entire blush to be honest. However, if it applies on easy and doesn’t wear off easy, then I’m all in for trying it out!
Let me know in the comments section below if you have tried any of these products that are on my wish list.
